Check out my video tutorial and it working at. To remove the flash saw around the edges sstun the camera until you split it in half.

Once you have done this remove the flash circuit and the battery in the flash circuit then it should look like the picture shown. Next you need to discharge the capacitor the big glovd thingto do this simply touch a wire to both of the prongs circled in g,ove. NOTE: there should be a spark be careful not to shock maake. After you have successfully discharged the capacitor solder to wires to the prongs indicated by the red circles.

Its about as simple as the title. Just strip the end of the wires you soldered to the capacitor and sandwich the ends between electrical tape and the pennys. Now place the battery back in the flash circuit and duct tape it in place because it falls out easily. After you have done this hot glue the circuit to a hard flat surface and then hot glue it to the glove.

Next hot glue the pennys on your middle finger and thumb. Gloge is important for the wires not to be touching so you may have to postion them strategically on the glove and tape them in place. To activate the glove hold the small lever in the center of the flash circuit down to charge it then release the lever and touch the two maks together. Glive out my channel to see exactly how the activation process for the glove works.

Introduction: DIY Tazer/Stun Glove *With Altoids Case

Hello and welcome to a a Kante Industry presentation. This is my first actually instructable and i decided to make a electric stun / taser glove. This glove is a prototype and well eventually have extreme stealth capabilities. The shock from this voltage is high and deadly and this is mean't to be a self defense weapon only. The glove is charge by a capacitor bank of 4, traveling up 3ft of. The gloves feature your standard stun-gun-built-from-a-disposable-camera and since he’s apparently not a complete idiot, he used rubberized fishing gloves so that he doesn’t shock his own hands. Here is just a brief list of the stuff you shall need. Altoids Case 4. In order for me to solder the capacitors all I did was first twist on the wires to the leads then I solder them in one by one. Make sure to have half an inch off the side connecting to the camera and more than an inch for the side leaving the altoids can.

Okay now take your camera circuit and replace the capacitor the big round black thing lol with the new capacitor bank. Making sure that the leads of the capacitor bank corresponds with that on the circuit. Next flip over the circuit and remove the round metal switch in the middle.

This is used to turn flash on. We will peel the metal from the tape and flip it then place back over its spot. This now makes the circuit closed so that you don't have to start it yourself. Finally place the piece of insulator on the bottom and sides of the altoids case. Okay now we will cut a hole through the lid of the case so that the 1in end of the capacitor bank fits through it. Everything should be in the case at this point. Next we will solder on the extra wires to extend from the torso to the gloves.

Heat shrink or tape up the connections for durability. Finall solder on the metal plates to the free end of the extra wire. After this point you have to glue gun the solder side of the plate on to the desirable finger tips. Insulate with tape is recommended.

Check out the video at the beginning and learn how to easily start it up. I now use 4. I later plan on using foil tips or making my right hand neg and my left a whole positive glove.

I also plan on making it smaller and more powerful from my coil gun ideas. Peace my friends and leave comments. Neither the gloves nor the wire insulation are rated for the voltage output.

If not, is copper a fair substitute? Thank you in advance. I asked my electronics teacher to do this as a project, I was politely declined : Thanks for your instructable will be trying this one soon! Reply 7 years ago on Step 6. Ask if you can do it if you can somehow recreate it as a bug zapper system. Also you can always do it on your own. Excellent tutorial! Very simple explanation.

Quick question - what value of capacitors did you use? I used the ones found in disposable cameras, they usually have a rating of about v and like uf. Reply 8 years ago on Introduction. Your going to hurt yourself making this don't do it. Thats great! This is the first time it saw a glove version : You should also try the battery powered electric fly swatter as your capacitor charger. By the way, what capacitor value did you use? Well I had 4 capacitors. Yes it most likely will if you build it correctly and do some minor modifications.

However try to avoid danger if possible. You got that right i once shocked my self with a different taser and it left burn marks on my skin for at least a week.
